Milliken v. Bradley

In Milliken v. Bradley, the court impeded integration efforts across school district lines like busing, unless it could be proven boundary lines were drawn with racist intent. The ruling distinguished between de jure and de facto segregation.

Several people sit at a table in front of word processing machines. A man stands in the back, looking over his shoulder toward the camera, while one of the people sitting look up and smile towards the man.
